Superdeep
Available positions: Supercoordinator
(DKU HRC Student worker)
HRC Superdeep is hiring Supercoordinators (aka: Student workers), to help plan, organize, and
run Superdeep events. The term of employment is Spring 2026. Renewal possible. The position is
for ~17 hrs per month. Compensation is 32 RMB/hr, as per DKU policy.
Responsibilities include:
☞ soliciting participants for events;
☞ helping organize, advertise, and run events;
☞ taking footage & attendance; and producing brief event reports.
Supercoordinators are also encouraged to help develop current or new Superdeep initiatives.
Duration: Spring 2026; possible renewal.
Requirements:
– Superdeep reliability
– strict availability during key activity periods
– Cave: Mon morning/eve (9a/6pm), however briefly
– Nighthawks: Thu eve, ~7:28pm onwards
– basic poster design skills (Photoshop/Affinity familiarity preferred);
– some Mandarin reading & writing skills (for event ads & announcements).
Advantageous additional qualifications:
– familiarity with Superdeep
– galaxybrain (IQ +5000)
– philosophical interest
– a certain Je Ne Sais Quoi
Superdeep regulars and others familiar with Superdeep are particularly encouraged to apply.
Note: students are not eligible to apply for periods when off campus (e.g. during semesters at
Duke, off-site internships, etc.), given the nature of responsibilities involved. Likewise, Seniors
are not eligible to apply, given the priority of their other responsibilities (applications, Signature
Work, etc.). Students who are interested to apply but can’t commit 17 hrs per month due to RA or
other student work commitments are still encouraged to apply, provided they’re be available for at
least ~11 hrs per week.
