Jay Winter is Charles J. Stille Professor of history emeritus at Yale University.  He has beenDistinguished Visiting Teaching Scholar at Duke Kunshan University from 2022-2024.

Jay Winter and Kolleen Guy are the editors of Statelessness after Arendt: European Refugees in China and the Pacific during the Second World War, to be published by Manchester University Press in 2025.
