About

Humans of DKU, a DKU storytelling platform launched in Oct 2024, collects and shares authentic first-person narratives from students, staff, and faculty of diverse backgrounds, covering cultural heritage, identity, and universal human experiences. By spring, it will have 20 stories (2+ monthly), created via interviews, transcription, editing (preserving original voices), and Instagram publication. An upcoming immersive exhibition will present these stories physically to expand impact, deepen empathy, strengthen community bonds, and foster belonging, with consent from storytellers and event documentation for the future website.
