Ethnography of China: New Directions – Final Community-Based Project Exhibition

What was on the land of DKU before it became DKU? This project exhibition is a land acknowledgement of the people, their land, and their homes that were demolished to make way for the construction of DKU.

Join the Ethnography of China: New Direction class for a special exhibition presenting students’ semester’s work in co-creating knowledge with our neighboring community, Dayu New Village – a community of both original residents and new migrant workers – embodies the profound narratives of urbanization, displacement, and adaptation that define contemporary China.
