Madison Brown
My name is Madison Brown. I am an undergraduate student at Duke Kunshan University studying Global Health with a track in Biology. I plan on going to graduate school in business to get my MBA. I have always been interested in theater growing up, so I wanted to carry this passion into college as well. That is why I joined the university’s theater club. I have held the title has Lead Floor Stage Manager for the current and previous semesters’ musicals. For this position, I coordinate and manage the parts of a theater that happen in the background that the audience doesn’t see. My passion for theater management led me to co-organizing the 2nd Chinese Theater Night!
Emily Kus
My name is Emily Kus, a member of the Class of 2027 from the United States, with strong family ties in Poland. I am currently pursuing a degree in Material Science with a focus on Physics and plan to continue my studies in Poland, pursuing a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. My long-term goal is to work for a Formula 1 team, combining my love of engineering and design. Outside of academics, I have been passionate about musicals since childhood, and this interest has recently grown into a broader love for theatre. During my freshman year, I served as stage manager for the performance The New Margo. I now co-organize the Chinese Theater Night, where I help plan events such as workshops, manage recruitment, coordinate multiple student groups, and monitor overall crew progress.

Aeryn Bernard
My name is Aeryn Bernard, and I am a Jamaican & Trinidadian student at DKU. Growing up in a vibrant, multicultural environment, I learned to embrace a wide variety of interests. One constant has been photography, a passion couldn’t have without my mother and her support. While academically, I lean more towards STEM planning to major in Material Sciences with a Track in Physics, I continue to value all my creative pursuits, like photography. I am excited to be involved in the Chinese Theater Night to not just continue to hone my photography skills, but to gain a new one in terms of reporting. I can’t wait to see all these amazing performances and you all in the audience sharing in the passion and hard work of the actors.
