Description:
The US-China Relations Symposium at DKU brings together a group of interdisciplinary scholars working in the field of Sino-American relations. During this one-day symposium, these scholars will present their research, engage with members of the DKU community, discuss syllabi, and brainstorm new pedagogical and co-curricular programming dedicated to helping students better understand bilateral relations between China and the United States in a global context.

12:30 to 2:00 PM: Lunch
2:00 to 3:30 PM: Syllabus Workshop
3:45 to 5:15 PM: Pedagogy and Co-Curricular Programming Discussion

Invite to students:
All DKU students are welcome to present their own research on any topic of relevance to relations between China and the United States at DKU’s US-China Relations Symposium on October 11, 2024. This symposium will feature faculty from DKU, Harvard University, Lingnan University, and NYU-Shanghai. If you are interested in presenting your work, please send a short, 100-word abstract about your topic to Professor Zach Fredman (zsf5@duke.edu).
