Research Assistant Positions at HRC Harmony Lab

The Harmony Lab at the Humanities Research Center is seeking two research assistants to work with Professors Hwa Yeong Wang and James Miller on research into Confucianism and feminism. For more information about the Harmony Lab, visit our webpage.

Requirements

The research takes place in the fall and spring semesters (28 weeks total), and students are expected to work an average of 10hpw at a rate of 35RMB per hour.

Students should preferably be enrolled in, or considering enrolling in, a relevant major such as Ethics and Leadership, Global China Studies, Cultures and Movements, or Global Cultural Studies.

Duties

The research assistants will work with Profs. Wang and Miller on the following tasks:

  • Literature review of sources in Chinese, English, or other relevant languages
  • Workshop / event planning
  • Communications
  • Project administration
