In a Bundesliga 2 match on Saturday between MSV Duisburg and Ingolstadt, goalkeeper Mark Flekken of MSV Duisburg made one of the worst mistakes I’ve ever seen. Words cannot do it justice so I’ve attached the video.
In an interview, Flekken said that he took a break to drink water because he thought his team had scored. However, what he failed to realize is that the goal was called back for being offsides.
MSV Duisburg did go on to win the match by a score of 2-1 despite this goalkeeping blunder.
