The issue that will be published on February 19, 2019 covers a wide spectrum of topics related to cardiovascular disease in women ranging from prevention and risk stratification to myocardial infarction, pregnancy, heart failure, and sudden cardiac death. There is a variety of article types including 6 original research papers, 2 state-of-the art papers, 2 in-depth reviews, 3 frame of reference papers, and 1 research letter. By highlighting some of the best research on cardiovascular disease in women, the Circulation editorial team is hoping that this issue will ignite more interest in and greater commitment to conducting transformative research in this field.
