Why are you a part of DEID?
DEID represents the intersection of lots of my passions. In addition to studying civil engineering, international exploration and building connections has always been something that is very important to me. DEID brings these two things together perfectly.
What you are most excited for about your project or DEID?
This is my first time being involved in a DEID project and actually traveling so I am super excited to experience everything about it to be honest – the ups, the downs, and everything in between.
Fun Fact
My favorite food is tostones with mayoketchup – it’s a Puerto Rican staple which is where my family is from.
