Lakshya Jain
Lakshya is a supply chain strategist in the making, with real skin in the game. As co-founder of KDS & Sons, he built and ran end-to-end supply chain operations from the ground up, managing production planning, supplier negotiations, and multi-city distribution for a manufacturing startup. That experience taught him what no classroom can: how to make hard calls with incomplete information under real business pressure.
Now at Duke’s Master of Engineering Management program, he is channeling that entrepreneurial foundation into a sharper, more analytical edge. His focus is Supply Chain Management, and he brings it to life through the tools he knows best: Excel modeling, SQL, Tableau, Python, and process automation.
Outside the classroom, Lakshya serves as Communication and Website Team Lead at Duke MEM and as Treasurer of the Duke Supply Chain Club, two roles that keep him equally engaged in storytelling, community building, and the operational side of running things well.
He is a genuinely curious person who loves a good conversation about startups, founder journeys, and what it takes to build something from zero. Whether it is a late-night whiteboard session or a casual coffee chat, he is always up for it.
When he is not buried in spreadsheets or brainstorming the next big idea, you will find him on the court or in the pool. He plays swimming, pickleball, lawn tennis, and badminton, bringing the same competitive energy to sports as he does to everything else.
