A Word From the Faculty
“The seminar series will focus on a set of significant skills as called out by the MEM Principles and skills for the 21st Century. We will explore those skills with speakers and also provide a variety of resources for students to explore those skills in more depth and learn vehicles where they might get experience in applying those skills.” -Kevin Wright, seminar series instructor

- “I genuinely appreciate the Duke Administration putting in the efforts to network and bring in different speakers of different backgrounds, races, stories, and whatnot! It helped me glean into different fields, hear about how things work and it definitely shaped my personality.”
- “I think it is a great idea to conduct seminar sessions so that it gives us an opportunity to interact with professionals in different fields and get our questions answered.”
- “Getting to hear from people in the roles that we are targeting for our future careers here in the US helps in understanding the role better. The entire seminar experience is such that it helps in understanding the industry in a better way as well.”

- “I really liked the seminar sessions and culture minutes that each class had. It was a great way to learn new things. I especially liked the Supply Chain Management session as it addressed a field I was curious about but never had any experience in.”
- “The seminars were really insightful, I really liked the different experiences that we got to hear from each speaker. This really gave me some help on narrowing down options my for my career.”
