Saumya Patni, a Dean’s Meritorious Student, earned his Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering in India. With experience in business analytics, digital transformation, and project management, including collaborations with U.S. clients, he combines technical expertise with business acumen. Now pursuing a Master of Engineering Management at Duke University, Saumya is eager to connect with and support incoming students on their MEM journey.
Saumya Patni thrives on building innovative products, entrepreneurship, and creative ideas. A sports enthusiast passionate about Cricket and Formula 1, he also enjoys music concerts and stock market ventures. A globetrotter who has explored 7 countries, Saumya aims to visit all 195 while tackling his “50 Things BucketList,” including the thrilling goal of flying a plane!

Ruixin Li
Fall 2024
Ruixin Li, a recent graduate from China Agricultural University, majored in Communications and minored in Economics. Now pursuing a Master of Engineering Management (MEM), she’s embracing the program’s vibrant academic environment and collaborative opportunities.
With a passion for customer experience analysis and a keen interest in AI and E-Commerce, Ruixin combines her experience in digital marketing and product operations with a creative yet data-driven approach to solving problems. She is actively seeking roles as a marketing analyst or business analyst to make impactful business decisions. She is a big fan of Formula 1 and Musical, and also basketball! As a devoted dog lover, she believes life is better with a furry companion by your side.

Shivansh Singh, a merit scholarship student at Duke, is a passionate engineer with a deep interest in Product Management. A graduate of the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Indore, India, Shivansh brings a strong foundation in engineering and innovation to his work. With a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives, he has honed his ability to lead cross-functional teams and create value-driven solutions. At Deloitte, he specialized in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), earning leadership recognition for his collaborative leadership and impactful client engagements.
Beyond academics, he is deeply passionate about music, having performed and competed in national-level competitions. A sports enthusiast, Shivansh played soccer at the national level during his school days. Shivansh’s leadership roles across technical, cultural, and sports societies underscore his ability to inspire, collaborate, and innovate, making him a well-rounded representative of the Duke MEM community.

Outside of his professional and academic pursuits, Sumanth is a competitive chess player and a skilled guitarist and violinist who loves jamming to rock ‘n’ roll and metal music. When he’s not strategizing on the chessboard or jamming on his guitar, you’ll find him enjoying Formula 1, tennis, or golf.

Khushi Rohra
Fall 2024
Khushi Rohra, a graduate from Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, earned her Bachelor of Technology, majoring in Information Technology, from India. She brings two years of professional experience at Barclays, where she specialized in platform capabilities, ensured compliance, and implemented automation frameworks to streamline processes in the financial technology sector. Currently pursuing a Master of Engineering Management at Duke University, Khushi is passionate about client experience and is adept at commercialization and sustainability in product innovations in the U.S.
Beyond academics, Khushi actively participates in MEMPDC events and Community Building initiatives. She is eager to share her journey and insights with incoming students, providing guidance to help them navigate their own paths at Duke. Khushi is a voracious reader with a keen interest in technology, business, and psychology. She also enjoys exploring eclectic interests, including dance, music, pop culture, fashion, and culinary arts. An avid traveler, she delights in experiencing new cultures as a local while indulging in occasional luxury experiences.
