Our Graduate Student Programs and Services (GSPS) team offers engineering master’s and PhD students a wide variety of opportunities to enrich their student experience, learn new skills, and help build a vibrant Duke engineering community. We provide our students resources that they can use in the classroom, in their professional endeavors, and in their personal lives.

Master’s Programs Admissions, Recruitment & Marketing is a dynamic team that leads efforts to attract and welcome talented students to Duke Engineering’s master’s programs. Through strategic outreach, personalized communications, and events, they help prospective students learn about our programs and guide them through the admissions process. Their work ensures a smooth transition into graduate studies and contributes to a diverse, dynamic student body.

Career and Communication is a career and communication resource center designed to provide graduate students at the Pratt School of Engineering with courses, workshops and one-to-one and group support in the areas of oral and written communication for academic and professional purposes, as well as career development and search strategies. Career & Communication serves domestic and international students and offers a combination of resources targeted to serve engineers from all backgrounds.

Graduate Student Affairs supports graduate and professional students at the Pratt School of Engineering through engagement opportunities, personalized wellness support, and leadership development. The team leads key student life events such as orientation and graduation, advises student leadership groups, and coordinates community-building programming. They provide support for students in crisis, strengthen connections with alumni and industry partners, and manage data collection and assessment to enhance programs and services. Graduate Student Affairs serves a diverse student population and is committed to fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive graduate community.
