Pratt Peers Advisory Board

Our Mission

To represent and uplift all graduate students in the Pratt School of Engineering by amplifying student voices, nurturing peer-led support, and fostering community through inclusive leadership, mentorship, wellness resources, and cross-program collaboration. The Advisory Board strives to enhance the student experience by advocating for needs and ideas, supporting academic and career growth, and cultivating belonging, resilience, and meaningful connection.

Our Vision

We envision a thriving, inclusive, and supportive Pratt community where every graduate student feels heard, valued, and empowered to lead, connect, and grow. The Pratt Peers Advisory Board aspires to be a vibrant hub of student-driven leadership and care: cultivating compassionate, socially conscious, and impact-oriented engineers; normalizing help-seeking; fostering collaboration; and building a lasting legacy of belonging, well-being, and student-led innovation within Pratt and beyond.

The staff advisor to the Student Advisory Board is Dr. Xiaoyan Hu. Please email her with any questions.
