Optional Pre-Orientation Activities

Welcome, New Students!

We are excited to offer a series of optional pre-orientation events designed to help you settle in, explore campus, and begin building connections before Orientation Week officially begins. These events are open to all incoming graduate students.

Event Schedule

Monday, August 10 | All Day | Self-Paced

Scavenger Hunt
Start your adventure by visiting the Graduate Student Programs & Services office in Teer 213 between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM to pick up your bingo card and a list of the top ten “must-know” spots on Duke’s campus (view the list here). Explore at your own pace and mark each location on your card as you discover them. Once you’ve completed the scavenger hunt, return to Teer 213 between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM to claim your prize. It’s a fun and easy way to get to know Duke’s campus!
