Course Description/Synopsis

eLuminate Studio is a challenging course.  In just one semester, teams progress from an initial industry innovation challenge or new technology to a fundable proposition ready for further development.  The work required is above-average in difficulty and scope but very rewarding.  Students learn how to navigate the choppy seas of the innovation journey in the real world of big successful organizations.  In addition to state-of-the-art theory and practical application of innovation best practices from across industry, academia and government, each team will be mentored and coached by an experienced innovator who works for our industry sponsors.  Guest speakers will also broaden students’ perspectives and skillsets. This combination of world views will prove invaluable as students move out into the real world, equipped with reusable skills and perspectives that will help them succeed in the future.
