Pratham Sharma

Pratham brings a unique mix of product experience, entrepreneurship, and storytelling to the MEM community. Before joining Duke, he worked as a Product Manager, co-founded a climate tech startup, and was twice featured on the Times Square billboard in New York for his impact as a mentor. He has also been recognized as one of the Top 100 Study Abroad Mentors in the U.S., helping thousands of students achieve their goals. Most recently, Pratham interned as a Product Marketing Manager, where he deepened his passion for connecting products with people through clear and compelling narratives.

At Duke, Pratham works directly with MEM Leadership team on strategic initiatives to elevate the program’s brand and student experience. He also serves as a Pratt Peer Leader, supporting graduate students through emotional well-being and mental health initiatives, and represents Pratt on the University Judicial Board as a member at the Duke President’s office.

Beyond academics, Pratham is a nature enthusiast who finds joy in hiking, kayaking, and immersing himself in instrumental music. For him, storytelling is not just a career skill but also a way to connect with people—whether through product marketing, mental health advocacy, or simply sharing experiences outdoors.

Ruixin Li

Ruixin comes from a background in Communication and Economics—a combination that’s a bit unique in the MEM community. She has dived into internships across product marketing, digital marketing, and user operations, giving her a well-rounded view of where tech and business intersect. Most recently, she wrapped up an internship at Netease, where she helped launch a new AI-powered education product. She chose Duke MEM for its distinctive mix of technical, managerial, and leadership training, and has loved learning alongside such a diverse and driven group of classmates. Outside of academics, Ruixin is a devoted pet parent to an adventurous golden retriever and two very chill cats. She’s also a huge musical theater fan—Les Misérables holds a special place in her heart, and she’s already planning a trip to watch Hamilton this fall. And if that wasn’t enough, she loves the high-speed excitement of F1 racing! Feel free to chat with her about anything from marketing strategies to musical soundtracks, F1 highlights, or pet stories—she’s always up for a fun conversation!

Ata Isin

 


Ata
 Isin is a Master of Engineering Management (MEM) student at Duke University. He earned his B.S.E in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University graduating magna cum laude. Ata’s professional experiences span across product & project management, regulatory research, and biomedical innovation. He has led cross-functional teams across IT, AI, and cybersecurity, driven process improvements in healthcare operations, and contributed to FDA regulatory submissions and business development initiatives.

At Duke, Ata serves as a Teaching Assistant for Management course and Software Quality courses and actively engages in student leadership as founder of Vibe-Coding, a new initiative promoting rapid prototyping and AI-powered product development. His passions extend beyond academics, he enjoys soccer, travel, and exploring the intersection of technology and entrepreneurship.

As an MEM Ambassador, Ata is committed to creating collaboration, supporting peers, and showcasing the MEM program’s unique ability to bridge engineering and business for future leaders.

Sumanth Saligram

 


Sumanth is an Information & Computer Science graduate from The National Institute of Engineering, India and brings over five years of professional experience at Deloitte, where he excelled in technology consulting, digital transformation, and product and quality assurance. Currently pursuing a Master of Engineering Management at Duke University, Sumanth is passionate about helping new students transition smoothly into life at Duke, sharing guidance and insights from his own journey.

Outside of his professional and academic pursuits, Sumanth is a competitive chess player and a skilled guitarist and violinist who loves jamming to rock ‘n’ roll and metal music. When he’s not strategizing on the chessboard or jamming on his guitar, you’ll find him enjoying Formula 1, tennis, or golf.

As a MEM ambassador, Sumanth is excited to create a welcoming and engaging environment, inspiring new students to thrive in their academic, professional, and personal endeavors at Duke.

Aarti Japtap

 

Aarti Jagtap earned her Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication in India. With internship experience in product management and market research, Aarti aims to combine her technical expertise with a strong focus on product management. Now pursuing a Master of Engineering Management at Duke University, she is excited to guide and support incoming students on their MEM journey. Aarti has a deep passion for music, especially Taylor Swift, and loves dancing and watching movies in her free time. She dreams of traveling the world, exploring new places, cultures, and experiences as she advances in her career.

As a MEM ambassador, she’s focused on creating a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome. Khushi Rohra

 

Khushi is a graduate from Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, earned her Bachelor of Technology, majoring in Information Technology, from India. She brings two years of professional experience at Barclays, where she specialized in platform capabilities, ensured compliance, and implemented automation frameworks to streamline processes in the financial technology sector. Currently pursuing a Master of Engineering Management at Duke University, Khushi is passionate about client experience and is adept at commercialization and sustainability in product innovations in the U.S.

Beyond academics, Khushi actively participates in MEMPDC events and Community Building initiatives. She is eager to share her journey and insights with incoming students, providing guidance to help them navigate their own paths at Duke. Khushi is a voracious reader with a keen interest in technology, business, and psychology. She also enjoys exploring eclectic interests, including dance, music, pop culture, fashion, and culinary arts. An avid traveler, she delights in experiencing new cultures as a local while indulging in occasional luxury experiences.

Ajay Amnindhi Murali

 

Ajay is from Bangalore, India, and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Engineering Management (MEM) at Duke University. With a background in Mechanical Engineering, he began his career as a Design Engineer at RGBSI, where he contributed to new product development, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.

At Duke, Ajay has gained hands-on experience in product strategy, market research, and go-to-market planning. He interned with MLP Games, helping to shape product vision through user research and competitive benchmarking, and consulted for Naitiv, where he focused on AI-powered interpretation tools. These opportunities have strengthened his passion for product management and product marketing, particularly in data-driven decision-making and user-centric design.

Beyond academics, Ajay enjoys helping others, sharing knowledge, and fostering collaboration to drive meaningful impact. In his free time, he loves playing board games, watching anime, and cheering on the Duke football team. Sahil Rohira

 

Hello World, meet Sahil, a calm yet curious mind navigating the transition from consulting to crafting strategy-infused, human-centered products. By day, he dives deep into frameworks and innovation, transforming ideas into solutions that make an impact that matters. By night, he builds reflective tools, journals his thoughts, and explores what it means to live more intentionally. He’s flowing, not just floating. A professional Bachata and Bhangra dancer and High-Altitude Trekker, Sahil believes in making the most of every minute. He loves reading self help books and has a motive to make an impact that matters in each students life through the Student Ambassador Program.

Ankit Sai Allam

 

Ankit is a current Master of Engineering Management (MEM) student at Duke and a Graduate Student Ambassador. His journey has taken him from studying mechanical engineering in India to diving into product management and digital innovation in his family business. What makes Ankit’s story unique is the diverse set of experiences he has gathered—from leading cross-functional teams on AI-driven projects, to managing the full lifecycle of over 29 digital products, and optimizing operations across geographies. Along the way, he has learned to adapt quickly, grow from setbacks, and collaborate with people from all walks of life.

Outside the classroom, Ankit enjoys brainstorming new ideas, helping incoming students feel welcome, and building bridges across different cultures and disciplines. He believes that real leadership begins with empathy and curiosity—qualities that have shaped the way he learns, works, and supports those around him.

Yaseer Meera


Yaseer Meera is from Mysore, India, and studied Aerospace Engineering as an undergraduate. He is now pursuing his master’s in engineering management (MEM) at Duke University. Throughout his time at Duke, Yaseer has embraced many different roles and opportunities. He worked as an Operations Supervisor with Duke Recreation, which matched his love for sports, served as a Resident Assistant in Randolph and Blackwell dorms, and contributed to research at the Fuqua School of Business. Each of these experiences has helped him grow as a leader and connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
Yaseer is especially interested in consulting and project management. His interest began when one of his favorite community spots in his hometown was at risk of closing, and he pitched in to design a marketing strategy and organize events to help revitalize it. That experience sparked his passion for strategy, problem-solving, and leadership. Beyond academics, he loves traveling having explored nearly 30 countries and enjoys learning from new cultures and people wherever he goes. His favorite spot on campus is Pitchforks, where you’ll almost always find him grabbing a bite and chatting with friends.

As a MEM Ambassador, Yaseer believes in a “pay it forward” approach sharing his knowledge and experiences to support prospective students. He is committed to upholding Duke’s values of integrity and professionalism while proudly representing the MEM program. His goal is to inspire positive change and encourage others to make the most of the many opportunities that Duke offers.

Kavish Pandit

Kavish is a Master of Engineering Management student at Duke University, graduating in 2025, and currently serves as President of the MEM Product Management Club. In this role, he has curated multiple events at Pratt, including product hackathons, case competitions, and industry workshops, creating opportunities for students to apply classroom learning to real-world challenges. He has also won several innovation and strategy competitions on campus, strengthening his ability to think critically and deliver under pressure.

His background spans product management, AI, and sustainability-driven innovation. He has worked on projects such as LCAPIX, a low-code platform designed to accelerate environmental impact assessments for manufacturers, as well as healthcare solutions that optimize surgical supply chains and reduce costs. These experiences have provided him with hands-on product management expertise, blending engineering, business, and sustainability while collaborating with professors across Pratt, Fuqua, and the Nicholas School.

Beyond academics, Kavish enjoys sports, traveling, and exploring new cultures. As an MEM Ambassador, he is motivated to mentor peers, foster collaboration, and strengthen the Duke MEM community.
