Acta Solutions is a GovTech startup powering better customer service in local governments across the country. We serve over 5.9M constituents with customer agencies in 5 states. We’re a fast-growing SaaS company and looking for motivated and hard-working Business Development Representatives (BDR) who love to win.
The ideal BDR is high energy, self-motivated, organized, and has outstanding phone and email skills to find, contact, follow-up, qualify and schedule demos for our Account Executives to close. If you’re motivated, results-driven, and enjoy working in a team environment, we’d love to meet you. Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.
The Work
- Develop target prospect lists and execute cold outreach via email, phone, and/or social media
- Qualify prospects based on their current business challenges and needs
- Schedule demos and discovery calls for our Account Executive team
- Use sales development automation (e.g. Reply, Close) to manage your prospecting campaigns
- Meet or exceed qualified lead/demos quota every month
- Experiment, test, analyze and improve your prospecting and qualification tactics. Strive to continuously improve your sales development process and demonstrate a willingness to learn and implement best practices
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market by actively listening to needs of prospects
Desired Background and Experience
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and highly organized
- Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Close)
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Prior lead generation and/or sales prospecting experience
