Making Things in 3D: Conference Summary and Discussion

Join David Stein, PepsiCo Education Technology Coordinator at Duke Libraries, for a discussion about the Construct3D conference, an inaugural 3d and digital fabrication conference for educators (to be held May 5-7) .  He will share a few observations and insights from the conference, and then will lead a discussion about 3D printing and digital fabrication and how they might impact teaching and learning at Duke and in the Durham schools.

Date: Tuesday, May 16, 2017
Time: 1:30-2:30PM
Location: Technology Engagement Center (TEC) Conference Room

Light refreshments will be served. No pre-registration is required.

Duke faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend. No experience with 3D printing or digital fabrication will be necessary. We hope attendees will represent a range of academic disciplines and experiences. Bring ideas and questions!
