Fellows will be issued a meal allowance for the year from the Division that can be used at the Duke North Atrium Café, Starbucks in the hospital or any location in the Duke South Food Court. When checking out, ask the cashier to use Flex.
The funds will be distributed to your DukeCard on July 1st of each year based on the rate below.
- First year fellows receive $380 (38, $10 meals)
- clinical second year fellows receive $250 (25, $10 meals)
Fellows may review their funds online or by using the eAccounts app – Install the Transact eAccounts Mobile App available at the Apple App Store or on Google Play.
Additionally, Duke GME supplies on call meals when fellows are on night float each night. $15 per day, 7 pm – 5:30 am
