Matt Kappus will present the recent esophageal article from the Annals of Internal Medicine: Repeated Upper Endoscopy in the Medicare Population by Heiko Pohl, Doug Robertson and Gilbert Welch. Vol 160: 154-160. 2014. There is a related editorial by Nick Shaheen on “Rightsizing” Use of Upper Endoscopy. Vol 160: 205-206. These papers are not yet indexed in PubMed, but can be found at the Annals website.

Helen Fasanya-Uptagraft will present a paper on colon cancer prevention from Gastroenterology by Ben Q et al. : Dietary Fiber Intake Reduces Risk for Colorectal Adenoma: A Meta-Analysis. Vol 146: 689-699. 2014. PMID 24216326.
