Cristal Brown will present a recent paper from Hepatology by Benitez et al entitled “Prospective Multicenter Clinical Trial of Immunosuppressive Drug Withdrawal in Stable Adult Liver Transplant Recipients” Vol 58: 1824-1835. PMID 23532679.

Hassan Dakik will present a therapeutics/imaging paper in Gastroenterology by Ordas et al entitled “Accuracy of magnetic resonance enterography in assessing response to therapy and mucosal healing in patients with Crohn’s disease” 146: 374-382. 2014. PMID 24177375.

Jeff Basile will present a paper on “In vivo endomicroscopy improves detection of Barrett’s esophagus-related neoplasia: a multicenter international randomized controlled trial” by Canto et al. Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. 79: 211-21. 2014. PMID 24219822.

We will also review the recent Gastro paper on the FODMAPS diet in IBS by Halmos et al. 146: 67-75. PMID 24076059. It will be particularly interesting to discuss how this is being used clinically, and what resources people are using to teach patients.
