Prepare for the storm – Sign up for Duke IT alerts

As you are preparing for the upcoming storm, we encourage you to sign up for IT alerts (https://status.oit.duke.edu/). OIT will be using this out-of-band method to communicate IT issues, outages, and IT work during the event, as we do for normal IT-related changed and issues.
You have an option for push notifications to a cell number (SMS) and email address, and would encourage you to add one or both.
We will plan on communicating storm-related IT issues in the “Other” category as well as in the categories to which they apply (e.g. networking).
Contact the OIT Service Desk with any questions.
