1. Go to Multi-Factor Authentication Home page (https://idms-mfa.oit.duke.edu/mfa/home)

2. Sign in using your NetID and password.

3. On the home screen select, Add a smartphone or tablet

4. Enter the information requested.

5. Follow the steps on the next page to install and activate Duo Mobile.

6. Once the QR code has been scanned, the Duke University profile will be added to Duo Mobile.

The following account will appear when opening Duo Mobile on the mobile phone or tablet

7. Proceed by clicking continue.

8. Click Continue and the following message will be displayed.

9. Once the process is completed, the following page will display

Selecting ‘Send a notification to… (Duo Push)’ will send the following prompt to the selected smartphone or tablet.
