We are delighted to share with you a short series showcasing eleven student stories from their field education placements told over four episodes. It is hosted by our student intern, Evelyn Archer-Taminger, M.Div. ’21. Intern Brooklynn Reardon, M.Div. ’22 created the graphics for this series.

From Evelyn:

“It has been a huge honor to host this student-centered series of the Divcast! I was incredibly humbled to be asked by the Office of Admissions to come on the podcast planning team in summer 2020, and through the process of recording and supporting the podcast I am reminded of the importance of each person’s unique story. Through the podcast I had the opportunity to speak with 11 gifted seminarians who not only have varied experiences and backgrounds, but so clearly have bright futures ahead in ministry!

In a year that has been so isolating due to the pandemic, it felt almost poetic to be sharing candid time with my peers in a virtual setting. Despite never being in the same room with my guests while we recorded their stories, I still felt that I was growing closer to my classmates. Simply spending time with people and listening to their stories is a deeply spiritual practice, and I am so grateful that I was able to spend a portion of my final year in seminary uplifting my friends, and highlighting the work of the Office of Field Education.

Thank you to the Office of Admissions, the amazing student guests, and anyone who supported the podcast by listening!”

Our thanks to Evelyn for hosting such a great series — we hope you enjoy these stories.
