Felicia Lim
Co-President

Felicia is a third-year Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Pharmacology and Cancer Biology, where she studies the effect of estrogen in immune systems and how it affects the effectiveness of therapies in female patients. Outside the lab, she enjoys reading, listening to music and spending time with her family and her cat.

Sarah Cunningham
Co-President

Sarah works in the Reddy Lab in the Center for Genomics and Computational Biology studying gene regulation in preterm birth. Outside the lab, she likes to hike with her dog, run, knit, and cheer on the Georgia Bulldogs!

Abbey Jackson
Treasurer

Abbey is a fourth year PhD student in the Department of Chemistry. She works on developing antibacterial prodrugs in the Franz Lab. In her free time, she plays violin, crochets, and snuggles with her two cats.

Niba Nirmal
Social Media Chair

Niba is a second-year Ph.D. student in the University Program of Genetics and Genomics. She studies the effects of pesticides on rice roots in the Benfey Lab of Plant Biology and Genetics. When off of social media, she works part-time as a model (@Nibvana) and enjoys journaling, cats, and video games.

Haleh Jeddi
Communications Chair

Haleh is a second-year PhD student in the Department of Chemistry, studying polymer-wrapped nanotubes in the Therien lab. She spends her spare time doing puzzles and playing with her sweet puppy, Astro.

Dr. Jennifer Ingram
Faculty Advisor

Dr. Ingram is an Assistant Research Professor at Duke University in the Duke Asthma, Allergy, and Airway Center. Her work focuses on understanding the molecular pathways that lead to airway remodeling in asthma. She grew up in Princeton, North Carolina and she earned her B.S. and Ph.D. from North Carolina State University.
