Candise is a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate in Earth & Ocean Sciences at Duke’s Nicholas School of the Environment, where she studies the physical impacts of climate change on the U.S. energy infrastructure. Prior to Duke, she received her B.A. in Earth & Environmental Sciences from Columbia University. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and urban chicken farming. |
Paige is a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Chemistry, studying methodology development and catalysis in organic synthesis. Paige obtained her undergraduate degree at Wake Forest University and was a 2010 Teach for America Corps Member in Memphis. In her free time, she enjoys dance, yoga, and spending time with friends, family, and her two kitties, Oliver and Rupard. |
Sarah works in the Reddy Lab in the Center for Genomics and Computational Biology studying gene regulation in pregnancy with a special focus on preterm birth and gestational diabetes. Outside the lab, she likes to hike with her dog, do yoga, read, and cheer on the Georgia Bulldogs! |
