Blue Devil Days “Technology@Duke” sessions draw record attendance!
More than 1,000 high school students and their parents attended the “Technology@Duke” sessions during this year’s Blue Devil Days, a series of two-day programs for admitted students. Student Trainers: Eleanor Mehlenbacher, Patrick Royal and Jenny Su conducted a 15 minute presentation showcasing how technology is being used at Duke. Then, attendees visited tables being manned by staff from the Office of Information Technology, Duke Libraries, the Office of News & Communication, and several student organizations. It was a great event and we look forward to seeing the new Duke students in the fall!

Throughout the past week, staff from OIT, Duke Libraries, Duke Computer Store and the Office of News and Communications conducted several “Technology @ Duke” interest sessions for prospective students and their families as part of Blue Devil Days, the university’s welcoming event for admitted students. Over 600 attendees viewed a 15 minute technology overview presentation and asked questions to the available staff. See more photos from Blue Devil Days on Duke Today and Storify.
