Data and GIS Services announces its Fall 2013 Workshop series. Workshops cover data management, digital mapping, data visualization, spatial humanities, statistics, and text analysis. Popular sessions include: Analysis with R, Top 10 Dos and Don’ts for Charts and Graphs and Introduction to Text Analysis. Upcoming MATLAB Training at Duke
On Tuesday, June 18, OIT in partnership with Duke University Libraries will host a one-day course on MATLAB that focuses on using this software for Data Processing and Visualization. Campus-wide student data visualization contest, January deadline
The Data & GIS Services department in Perkins Library is hosting a data visualization contest this winter! All students and all disciplines are encouraged to submit, and the winner gets a $500 technology prize of his/her choice.
