The goal of our laboratory is to perform the most significant and rigorous scientific investigation possible. Our ultimate goal is to understand and use the biology of Epstein-Barr virus to study tumorigenesis, virus replication, and cell/molecular biology. We use this fascinating and highly co-evolved virus to discover new biology in cells. These are lofty goals and are best accomplished by fostering an interactive, professional, collaborative and intellectually engaging environment. To achieve these collective group goals as well as our own individual goals, we work as a team built upon vulnerability, trust, open communication, commitment, responsibility, accountability, mutual respect, and professionalism.
