Joe Paxton is a Postdoctoral Associate affiliated with the Kenan Institute for Ethics (MADLAB) and the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience (Huettel Lab). His main line of research examines the role that moral reasoning plays in moral judgment. He is also interested in the psychology of religion. In addition, he is increasingly preoccupied with whether findings in experimental psychology have implications for moral and religious belief and practice. He thinks they do.
