Instrument Training for Independent Use: All first-time users must go through formal hands-on training provided by our staff. Instrument training by other fellow lab members is not acceptable, and such users will not be granted access to the instruments. Please contact Javid Mohammed for scheduling analyzer trainings, and Yingqiu Guo for Sony SH800 and MA900 cell sorter training.

Initial Cell Sorting Consultation: First time users who are requesting assisted cell sorting must schedule a half-an-hour initial cell sorting consultation with us to discuss sample preparation, panel information, collection options, length of sort-time needed, downstream application, etc., prior to scheduling assisted cell sorting services. Please contact Javid Mohammed for initial cell sorting consultation. We do not charge any fee for this consultation.

Training Material and Guidelines: We ask users to refer to the following respective training material and guidelines prior to attending hands-on training and/or staff-assisted cell sorting services. These materials can only be accessed through Duke Login. If you are prompted to login to access a file here, then please do so using your Duke NetID. Please contact us if you are unable to access any files here, and to request a copy by email.
