Parameters: 64 fluorescent detectors, plus SSC, vSSC and FSC The Cytek Aurora is a high-parameter spectral cytometer capable of detecting up to 64 fluorochromes simultaneously. Using its array of 64 detectors, the Aurora examines the entire emission spectra of fluorochromes and uses linear unmixing to investigate the individual parameters. This allows for the combination of highly similar dyes with overlapping emission peaks that would be otherwise indistinguishable on a conventional cytometer. With the 405nm Side Scatter detector (vSSC), this instrument is ideal for the detection of particles as small as 80nm.

Parameters: 28 fluorescent detectors, plus FSC and SSC
The Fortessa X-50 (aka FACSymphony A5) is a five-laser conventional flow cytometer capable of simultaneously detecting up to 28 distinct fluorochromes.

Parameters: 48 fluorescent detectors, plus FSC and SSC The FACSymphony A5-SE is a high-parameter spectral cytometer that can be used in both spectral and conventional modes, and is capable of detecting 48 fluorescent parameters simultaneously. This offers cross-platform compatibility for the panels designed on other conventional BD cytometers, including our Fortessa and Canto platforms. Like Cytek Aurora spectral analyzer, A5-SE processes entire emission spectra of fluorochromes (in spectral mode) and uses linear unmixing to investigate individual parameters. Therefore, highly similar dyes with overlapping emission peaks can be combined within a panel, that would otherwise be indistinguishable on a conventional cytometer.

The Fortessa X-20 is a five-laser conventional flow cytometer capable of detecting up to 18 distinct fluorochromes simultaneously.

FACSCanto II is a three-laser conventional flow cytometer capable of detecting up to 8 fluorescent parameters simultaneosly. Canto B has a highthroughput sampler (HTS) option to allow sample acquisition through regular FACS tubes or directly from a 96 well plate. Additional training is required to operate the HTS loader.
