Summary: Today, cultural centers have become an important part of student life on college campuses. Students come from many different states and countries, and cultural centers for minority students help them find community and friendships with people like them. I talk about some studies that have confirmed why these centers are so beneficial for student mental health and campus leadership. In the end, I talk about some centers that Duke has for minority students, as well as other universities.
