Research Assistants
If you are a Duke undergraduate student looking to gain research experience in the lab, please reach out to Dr. Salvador (cristina.salvador@duke.edu) with your CV and a brief introduction paragraph describing why you are interested in the lab, what skills you have and what projects are most interesting to you. Duke students interested in a summer internship may be eligible for T-SUMR or the Psychology VIP program.
If you are not a Duke undergraduate, we do not have paid positions for non-Duke students although you can inquire about volunteer opportunities. Please only inquire if you are a current undergraduate, we do not take high school student research assistants. If you are interested in volunteering, please send your CV and a brief introduction paragraph describing why you are interested in the lab, what skills you have and what projects are most interesting to you.
Lab Manager
Dr. Salvador is planning to hire a full-time lab manager starting Summer 2026. The position description and application instructions are available here on academic jobs online.
Prospective Graduate Students
Dr. Salvador is NOT considering graduate students to start Fall 2026 (applying as part of the 2025-2026 application cycle) in the Social Psychology program in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience. She is also NOT planning to take students through the Cognitive Neuroscience Admitting Program.
Prospective Post-Docs
Dr. Salvador is not currently recruiting a post-doctoral fellow. If you have funding or are eligible for certain funding opportunities (e.g., NSF SBE Post-doctoral fellowship), you can email Dr. Salvador directly (cristina.salvador@duke.edu) with your CV and a brief paragraph expressing your interest in the lab.
