Darensbourg (also seen spelled Darensburg) was born ca. 1882. Recorded with Frenchy’s String Band along with Johnny St. Cyr, Tommy Ladnier and Lonnie Johnson in 1928. (See Al Rose and Edmond Souchon, New Orleans Jazz: A Family Album, p. 33)
