Billy Huntington was an active performer on banjo, guitar, bass and saxophone playing with the George Lewis band, Lawrence Marrero, Charlie Love, Steve Angrum, Emile Barnes, and Albert Jiles. He gave up performing traditional jazz in the 50s. (See Al Rose and Edmond Souchon, New Orleans Jazz: A Family Album, p. 58)
