CAROLINA COAST

The precarious, living banks of the state where I live are one place where rising ocean levels are visible day in day out in the tidal salt marshes.

I’ve begun writing about these places in the wake of hurricane Florence (September 2018) because I cherish this land and seascape, and support the communities who live on this edge.
