TITLE: Survey of Lagrangian Mean Curvature Flow
ABSTRACT: The mean curvature flow (MCF) of a compact Lagrangian submanifold in a Kahler-Einstein manifold will continue to be Lagrangian whenever the solution is smooth. It is called Lagrangian mean curvature flow (LMCF) in this case. It is expected that LMCF has better behavior than general MCF in high co-dimension. In this talk, I will introduce and survey some results in LMCF, particularly toward understanding the singularities. It will also serve as a preparation for Lotay’s talk.

TITLE: On the existence of Lagrangians with special properties
ABSTRACT: I would like to take this opportunity to discuss my interests and different approaches to studying the existence of minimal Lagrangians, or special Lagrangians in Calabi-Yau manifolds, as well as other Lagrangians with special properties such as Hamiltonian stationary Lagrangians and soliton solutions of Lagrangian mean curvature flow. This will be a survey talk and intended to serve as a first step on exchanging thoughts for future collaboration.
