How to Apply

We will use the application to get a sense of YOU and why you want to participate. We do not ask for letters of recommendation–we will make admissions decisions entirely based on what you write. 

The application asks a series of questions that require short answers and a few questions that require longer answers (1 paragraph max). 

For the longer questions below, we are looking for 2-4 sentences. Please write from your heart and do not use ChatGPT or other AI programs to help you. We are interested in the content of your ideas, not the perfection of your grammar.

• What are your favorite subjects in school and why?
• Tell us a bit about why you want to be in this program. Please provide details.
• What do you hope to gain from participation in the Summer Design Camp? Learning more engineering and design? Technical skills? Being on a college campus?
• Tell us about your experience working in groups. We would love to hear about situations where you’ve worked well with a group and/or what role you tend to play in groups. 
• Is there anything else that you’d like us to consider in reviewing this application?
