Trey Lewis, Northeast Regional Representative | Office of US Senator Thom Tillis

Trey Lewis is a native of eastern North Carolina. Born and raised in Edgecombe County, he resides in the Town of Macclesfield with his wife Danielle, daughter Raina, and a host of pets. Trey is a proud product of Edgecombe County Public Schools where graduated from SouthWest Edgecombe High School in Pinetops. He would go on to obtain an Associate in Arts degree from Edgecombe Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, and Master of Public Administration from East Carolina University. Community involvement has been an important aspect of Trey’s life.
He has been active in many roles throughout his community including Chairman of the Edgecombe Tourism Development Authority, a member of the Edgecombe Chamber Board of Directors, a Trustee at Edgecombe Community College, and served as the mayor of Macclesfield from December 2015 through May 2018. It was noted by NBC affiliate WITN that he was one of the youngest elected officials ever elected in North Carolina. In May 2018, Trey joined the office of United States Senator Thom Tillis as the Northeast Regional Representative. His region stretches from the Research Triangle Park to the Outer Banks.
