We are committed to equality, promoting student leadership, and providing high-quality programing for prospective and current students.
Our Values and Logo Explained
FuquaPride not Fuqua Pride
The absence of a space between Fuqua and Pride reflects the connectedness of Fuqua as an institution with the LGBTQ+ community that calls it home. Fuqua is never separate from FuquaPride just as FuquaPride, as a club and a community, is never separate from Fuqua.
The Rainbow Plus
The plus sign incorporated in the logo symbolizes the many identities within the LGBTQ+ community that labels do not accurately capture. With its rainbow gradient, the plus sign represents the spectrum of sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions. The plus sign also fosters inclusivity of the allies that stand with the LGBTQ+ community.
The Plus in the Power Position
The plus is placed in the power position of FuquaPride. This placement represents the fact that every addition to FuquaPride is exponential to the advancement and inclusivity of the LGBTQ+ community. We are more than the sum of our parts.
