Hybrid Fall Symposium – Disaster and Resilience
A community’s ability to respond and recover from disasters, such as flooding and drought, requires complex and interwoven policies and procedures. The Symposium will discuss the financial hurdles and incentives, legal avenues, and infrastructure preparedness required to face these challenges, and the implications for communities.
The Disaster and Resilience Symposium will feature a morning keynote session, an afternoon panel discussion highlighting ongoing adaptation and response strategies in North Carolina, and an afternoon networking social.
