Andréas Remis, DPT, is a board-certified orthopedic and sports clinical specialist at Duke Health with expertise in orthopedic, spine, and postoperative rehabilitation. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy with highest distinction from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (2022) and completed advanced clinical training through an orthopedic residency at Mayo Clinic (2023), a spine fellowship at the University of Southern California (2024), and an orthopedic manual physical therapy fellowship at Duke University (2025). In addition to full-time clinical practice, Dr. Remis serves as a teaching assistant in the Duke DPT program and provides didactic instruction within Duke’s residency and fellowship programs. He has delivered presentations at local (APTA NC), national (CSM, NASS), and international (ISSLS) conferences, and his scholarly work includes peer-reviewed publications in Spine, NASSJ, and JOSPT Cases. Dr. Remis has been recognized with multiple early-career honors, including SpineLine’s “20 Under 40” and the Foundation for Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy Scholarship.
