Our lab’s first research paper spreaheaded by Mu-En was accepted by the Journal of Clinical Investigation. In this study, we uncover an RB/E2F/ACSL4 molecular axis that governs ferroptosis and highlight the therapeutic potential of ferroptosis induction in the treatment of RB1 loss-driven prostate tumor growth and metastasis, and perhaps other RB1-deficient malignancies.

Ming was invited to present at the 2022 Society for Basic Urologic Research (SBUR) Annual Meeting on Nov 12th. The theme of the meeting was “Complex Cells, Systems, and Regulatory Pathways in Urologic Biology”.  The title of his talk was “Engineering Large Chromosomal Deletions in Mice to Advance Precision Oncology for Prostate Cancer”.
