The 2020 Duke Leadership Academy held its first class on February 26th. Scholars took a deep dive into the six domains of leadership presented by Sim Sitkin, Founding Faculty Director of the Fuqua/Coach K Center on Leadership and Ethics (COLE) at the Fuqua School of Business.

The Duke Leadership Academy offers emerging leaders from across the university the opportunity to participate in a unique 12-month development initiative based on the COLE leadership model. The curriculum includes a focus on leadership and management styles and behaviors to implement strategy.

Participation in the program is highly selective and based on nominations by Duke vice presidents and deans. Learning takes place in the classroom, through 360 assessments and practical application, via a team project and coaching.

We’re excited to welcome our newest group of leaders!
