The Voices of Duke Health podcast will feature theme music and interludes created specifically for this project.
We were looking for — listening for — a theme to evoke the Duke Health mission of “Caring for our patients, their loved ones, and each other” while also suggesting the joy and skill with which our colleagues carry out this mission every day.
William Dawson, musician-in-residence at Duke University Hospital, composed a musical phrase for our theme, and Mark Simonsen and Jack Fleishman produced, arranged, performed, and recorded the music that you’ll be hearing in the podcast this fall.
