Learning Health Training Program Application 2020-2021

Who should apply?

Applications are open to: PGY2+ residents in all specialties, clinical fellows, research fellows, PDC/DUHS admnistrative fellows, PharmDs, and Advanced Practice or Masters+ Nurses.  On a case by case basis other applicants are considered.  We welcome participants with a diverse background, no specific data or analytic skills are required to participate.  However, applicants should have an interest in data, systems thinking and practice improvement; and should posses a desire to work and engage on a system or practice level project during the nine month program.

What’s the time commitment?

From October through May, the group will meet over the lunch hour on a regular schedule (day is TBD).  This time will be spent reviewing projects and connecting with system leaders on additional learning health topics, and discussing current literature or news related to learning health.  The program culminates with a project presentation to health system leadership in May 2020.

Applicants may also request to attend the MMCi bootcamp, an added benefit for our trainees.  Additionally, if interested, participants in LHSTP may also join the DIHI Data Science curriculum program.
