The FOB Program runs on a calendar year cycle. A high-level outline of program activities for September 2023 – October 2024 are listed in the below table. Current students can access the FOB application timeline and details on FuquaConnect.

| September 14, 2023 | FOB Information session (attendance strongly recommended). Check FuquaConnect for updates and to RSVP. |
| September 20 - October 1, 2023 | Student application open. |
| October 9 - 13, 2023 | Interview and selection process. All student applicants invited to interview, dependent on size of applicant pool. |
| October 30, 2023 | Matching decisions announced. Selected students will be required to schedule an introductory meeting with nonprofit partner representatives sometime before November 15. FOB funding is likely to be provided to support these meetings. |
| November 7, 2023 | Optional FOB happy hour for new FOB Student Fellows. |
| November 8, 2023 | Mandatory Program Launch event for FOB Fellows. Check FuquaConnect for details. |
| November 2023 - May 2024 | Connect with your board mentor and nonprofit organization. Attend board and/or committee meetings and FOB training and coaching sessions. Project Description will be to FOB program in mid-January. |
| May 2024 - August 2024 | No official FOB activities during summer internship; stay engaged long distance as relevant. |
| September 2024 - October 2024 | Attend board meetings, FOB training, finalize FOB project. |
